8 years ago this album came out? I gotta say that's about when my life took a downturn. I used to be able to hear clearly and have been fighting hearing loss for 4 years now. I wish I could have heard this back then.

All I remember hearing this the first time is tripping balls on MDMA and being surrounded by all new people who I felt actually loved each other & me. (Not just on the MDMA but all the time.) We had a solid 3 years of communal bliss and peace. It was all taken away and now post-covid, there’s nothing. Funny how the demise of the universe is just one rug-pull away. It traumatized my soul. Never again will I open to that. Not willingly.

Still trying to wrap my head around the time signature used in 23 towers (I think it is alternating measures of 5 beats/6 beats and then 5 beats/7 beats), but it is still thrilling nonetheless. Oh, and Calico "Stomp"?? The word "stomp" has no business in the name of this tune -- it is too darn smoooov.
